January 1, 2025, KINDA zipped by me; I was engaged in contemplation and packing for a pivotal point in my life. Ivan and I were scraping our plates clean of our TO DO list because we were going cruising!
But Not Just Any Old Cruise…
My Relationship and I (by the way, I call Ivan ‘My Relationship’ at times) were off to celebrate my turning-point birthday celebration.
Now, hear me clearly: Many factors could determine when a person marks a birthday as a turning point. Below are some choices
First twelve months of life and moving from crawling to walking
Sweet Sixteen “Coming of Age – no longer considered a child
The age twenty – Out of The Teens
Moving from one decade of living to another
Transitioning through young adult, middle, and senior ages
Just because any particular age has a special meaning.
Based on the above points, I’d have to go with ‘Moving from one decade of living to another.’ AND NO! You don’t get to know how many decades I’ve lived. Ha Ha
I won’t leave you hanging; I will let you know some things. For me, this birthday was huge. My mind floated peacefully between thoughts of reflection, contemplation, and, most of all, GRADITUDE! I am now tasked in this moment with decisions only I can resolve. How will I orchestrate and utilize the rest of my glorious, wonderful, and challenging life?
And so it is with everyone as we ride the time zones of our ages.
The next months of my life will be spent cleaning up, raking out, and moving my books forward.
Look for my first self-help title, Blame It On The Field of Pain—A self-help Ride To Mend The Hurt Inside, by Author Max W. Miller, coming mid-year on Amazon.

Weeds In the Grass
By: Max W. Miller Blogger, Head editor Facebook Twitter Youtube Instagram My husband and I began to notice an ever-increasing pattern of Alien Grass counterfeiters making their way through the turf on our front lawn. Honestly, at first glance, the patterns looked like the real deal. However, after a second pass through the infected areas, we determined that the patches
